OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Travel between downtown and midtown hit another snag on Thursday.

The City of Omaha announced that Farnam Street has been closed between 20th and 24th for utility work and will remain closed until further notice.

The road already had lane restrictions in place as streetcar construction continues.

It is unclear at this time if this utility work is connected to the streetcar.

Farnam was recently closed near 20th Street due to a water main break and subsequent repairs as well.

Drivers should use Dodge Street as an alternate route while Farnam remains closed.
