KEARNEY COUNTY, Neb. (KSNB) - An Indiana man is facing charges in a deadly crash earlier this week in Kearney County that killed a Minden man.
Cory Rady, 30, is charged with motor vehicle homicide, reckless driving and a stop sign violation.
The crash happened Monday morning near the intersection of Highway 10 and the 50-A Link, also known as Fork Kearny Road.
The Kearney County Sheriff’s Office said a Ford pickup and a GMC SUV collided at that intersection around 7:30 a.m. The SUV had been traveling north on Highway 10 and the pickup was heading east on the 50-A Link.
According to the arrest affidavit, Rady told the deputy that he was on a conference call while driving and looked down to mute the call. When he looked up he was in the intersection, the court record said.
