DES MOINES, Iowa (KCRG) - Iowa Title Guaranty (ITG) launched one of the nation’s first title theft products to shield homeowners from property fraud.

Title theft, also called deed theft or seller impersonation, is rapidly increasing nationwide as scammers become more sophisticated. The scammer fraudulently claims ownership of your property to sell or rent it.

ITG’s new coverage will pay for all legal defense fees and associated costs if a title is stolen and needs defending.
