JACKSON COUNTY, Mich. (WILX) -A handgun was found in a car involved in a two-car crash in Jackson County Wednesday night.

It happened just before 8:30 on Moscow Road near Folks Road in Hanover Township.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash. Officials say there were only minor injuries.

Investigators say one of the drivers provided a fake name to deputies, resulting in an arrest. A 9mm handgun was also found in the car.

That driver has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon and driving without a license.
