Webb City's girls basketball team leaped out to a 40-11 first-half lead and claimed a 57-38 win over the Blue Springs South Jaguars in their opening round game of the 29th annual Freeman Lady Eagle Classic Friday at Kaminsky Gymnasium.

Brecklynn Sargent scored nine first-half points in 4-of-5 shooting, followed by Adalyn Maxwell and Kenzie Horn with six each. ×
