The Carl Junction girls basketball team had a tough task as it faced one of the best players in the country in the first round of the Freeman Lady Eagle Classic Friday at Kaminsky Gymnasium.

The Farmington Cardinals — who won the Arkansas Class 4 title in 2023 and 2024 and the Class 5 title in 2025 — were led by sophomore Easton McCollough’s 24 points in a 84-20 win over the Bulldogs. ×
