BOISE, Idaho — Boise’s status as a recognized welcoming city shows in many ways, including its growing celebration of global cultures through food.
Visit Boise , the tourism arm of the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce, is helping highlight that diversity with a new eating experience.
Visit Boise's executive director, Carrie Hughes, said that the organization is “really focusing in on the assets and what Boise has.”
“We started with an urban wine trail, went to a potato trail, and now just launched the International Food Trail,” she added.
Boise’s food scene has grown rapidly over the years, thanks in large part to small, family-run restaurants introducing the flavors of their home countries to the Treasure Valley.
Now, a new digital “passport” aims to make those global stops easier
