CLEVELAND — With more lake effect snow on the way , the National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a Winter Storm Watch for a portion of Northeast Ohio for most of the weekend.
The Winter Storm Watch is in effect from 7 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 13) until 1 a.m. Monday (Dec. 15) for the following counties:
Ashtabula
Cuyahoga
Geauga
Lake
Due to the incoming snow, 3News has also activated a Weather Impact Alert .
“Travel could be very difficult due to slippery road conditions and poor visibility,” according to the National Weather Service.
The wintry weather also comes with gusty winds that will produce blowing and drifting snow.
