Newport headquartered haulage venture Monex Group is looking to accelerate following an acquisition deal. It has acquired Lancashire-based road haulage business Richardson Traction. The deal, the value of which has not been disclosed, increases Monex Group’s UK-wide fleet to 170 and its workforce to 260. Its revenues now exceed £37m.

A family-run business with over 50 years of experience operating both UK-wide and internationally, Monex Group provides strategic, commercial and financial support for its growing portfolio of businesses, which include Monex Logistic, Monex Marine Monex Cranes, and Monex Academy.
