A jury this week convicted an Indiana man of sexually assaulting two young girls at knifepoint in the woods in Exeter more than three decades ago.
A Superior Court jury on Dec. 11 found Frank Thies, 69, guilty of one count each of first-degree child molestation and first-degree sexual assault in the 1987 incident after a nine-day trial before Judge Sarah Taft-Carter.
