Two men have been arrested after a police chase through Liverpool city centre on Thursday night. Merseyside Police were called at around 10.50pm on Thursday, December 11, with reports of an altercation on Princess Dock between a group of men, some of which were armed with weapons.

Officers attended and the group fled the scene on foot. Following a police chase through the city centre a 20-year-old man, from Woodchurch, was arrested on suspicion of affray, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and racially/religiously aggravated intentional harassment/alarm/distress through words/writing.
