OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Saturday is a First Alert 6 Weather Day as snow moves in for our morning hours.
The bulk of the snow will be falling between 3 AM and 3 PM as a dry powder. It won’t be steady snow in the metro and it won’t snow that entire time either. The best chances for steady snow to last the longest will be to the northeast of the metro.
Up to an inch is possible in the metro with higher totals to the north and east.
Be ready for slick travel as the snow coats roads, especially in the morning and afternoon.
Thankfully winds will not be all that strong with peak gusts around 20 miles per hour; still, as the snow falls, visibility will drop and affect travel.
It will also be a cold day with temperatures struggling to peak in the mid teens.
