OMAHA, Neb. —
The community came together in south Omaha for a festive night of fun.
The Hispanic Art Center of Omaha hosted Las Posadas.
The long-standing tradition celebrates music, food, and shared heritage.
"Las Posadas is something really celebrated in Latino culture. You know, it's just during that Christmas time. It's a special time of it also has some religious aspect to, you know, of, of our Christianity and God and Jesus and all that. But in this aspect, it's really just, you know, kind of like brotherly love, you know, bringing everyone together," said Marcos Mora.
It was also a chance to lift up local programs like Casa de la Cultura, an organization that supports youth, tourism, and historic preservation.
