(KIMT) -- After a cold front moves through SE Minnesota and North Iowa Friday, an arctic air mass will settle into the region. A Cold Weather Advisory has been hoisted for all of SE Minnesota and a majority of North Iowa from 12 AM Saturday to 10 AM Sunday due to dangerous weather conditions.

Wind chills will fall to the -10s as early as sundown Friday as breezy northwest winds take over. Wind chills will plummet to the -20s Saturday morning.

Winds will wane slightly Saturday, but will remain breezy with gusts up to 20-25 MPH at times.

Still, wind chills will hold in the -10s Saturday afternoon as actual air temperatures fail to climb above zero. Saturday will be a dangerous day to be outside for a long period of time.
