EUGENE, Ore. - Detectives from the Eugene Police Department's Property and Financial Crimes Unit made multiple arrests during a retail theft operation at Coburg Road's TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack on Wednesday evening, according to EPD officials.
EPD authorities said that the Dec. 10 operation aimed to curb theft activity at these locations. Before the operation began, TJ Maxx experienced three thefts. During the operation, detectives intercepted five additional thefts, leading to the arrest of several suspects, all of whom had outstanding warrants.
One of the individuals arrested was 41-year-old Rachell Deann Waddell, who was caught leaving the store with a cartload of merchandise without paying. She was charged with second-degree theft and on outstanding warrants.
