GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - The University of Florida Gators football team is bringing back a very familiar face to coach their offensive line.
ESPN’s Pete Thamel reports Gator great Phil Trautwein will return to Gainesville to serve as offensive line coach on Jon Sumrall’s staff.
Trautwein is a former All-SEC left tackle who won national championships with the Gators in 2006 and 2008.
After his NFL career, Trautwein jumped into coaching, most recently coaching the O-line at Penn State for the last five seasons.
