CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Gov. Patrick Morrisey on Friday unveiled the West Virginia Rural Health Transformation Application, making public the strategic initiative the state plans to undertake to revitalize and reshape the state's health care system to better serve residents in rural areas.

“West Virginia is ready to lead the nation in rural health innovation,” Morrisey said. “By releasing this application to the public, communities and stakeholders can see firsthand how they can participate in this historic investment to shape the future of health care in our state.”

As part of the funding made available through the "One Big Beautiful Bill," West Virginia stands to receive more than $500 million through the program.
