WOODBRIDGE, Va. — He might be a U.S. citizen but a Woodbridge man, who asked to remain anonymous, still fears for himself and his family’s safety after an encounter with a masked person pretending to be an immigration enforcement officer .
“If this was a prank, they were very determined, and if it wasn't, it still scared me,” he said.
Police in Prince William County are searching for the individual who showed up at the victim’s door at the Glen Ridge Commons Apartments in Woodbridge around 1 p.m. on Thursday.
Through the peephole, the 21-year-old Virginia native could see the man wearing a black mask, a black plate carrier with a badge on the chest, a holster, gloves, and a black shirt with patches on the shoulders reading “ICE.”
