JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. — Four people, including two minors, were arrested Friday morning after deputies found a firearm equipped with a machine gun conversion device during a search at a James City County home, according to police.
James City County police said they assisted York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office deputies around 9:30 a.m. with serving a search warrant in the 8300 block of York River Park Road. The warrant was tied to an ongoing York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office investigation.
Inside the home, officers found a firearm fitted with a device that converts it into a machine gun, police said. All four people inside the residence were taken into custody and were charged with possession of a firearm that was equipped with a machine gun conversion device.
