GREENE COUNTY, Tenn. — UPDATE 1:21 P.M.: A man has died following a house fire in Greene County, according to the Greene County Sheriff's Office.

The man has been identified as 66-year-old Scott Hollenbeck, whose body was discovered in his bedroom.

The GCSO said 911 dispatchers got a call about a fire on Goddard Drive, and that the caller said they were asleep inside the home, but woke up to the sound of a loud noise coming from upstairs.

The caller said the home was full of smoke, and there was a fire in his brother's upstairs bedroom.

Heavy smoke and fire kept the caller from going into the bedroom, GCSO said.

Authorities from Camp Creek, Tusculum, Debusk and Sunnyside Volunteer Fire Department, along with the Greeneville City Fire Department responded to the blaze, and were able
