Nationwide Building Society has issued a warning about a letter going out to customers. The matter came to light after a customer posed a question on social media.

They said they had applied to switch to the building society but were yet to receive some items from Nationwide. They said: "I applied to switch and all is going through but still got no correspondence through via post."

The person said they had not had any post for over a week. They went on to ask if they could visit a branch and extend the switch to make sure as they were "hoping to get the cash bonus".
