Nail-biting dashcam footage shows the moment a van nearly collided with a driver on a Scottish road. The clip shows a vehicle driving on the A91 between Cupar and Dundee at around 2pm on Tuesday, December 9.

The vehicle turns a corner before approaching oncoming traffic . As the driver moves through the bend, a white van is seen attempting to overtake a number of vehicles.

It quickly moves back into its own lane, swerving at the last minute. The driver with the dashcam footage is forced to slam on their breaks.

The footage, which has gone viral on social media, has been slammed by furious locals. One person said: "Glad you've survived that, and hope this person is found. Absolutely shocking."
