JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. — James City County police are searching for a man in connection to an armed robbery at the Wells Fargo on Monticello Avenue Saturday morning.

Officials say a man, described as middle-aged, about 5’8” and 230 pounds, entered the bank around 9:13 a.m., displayed a firearm, demanded money, and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket, a gray t-shirt, jeans, and a black ballcap.

No injuries were reported.
