At 2:14 p.m. on Saturday, the National Weather Service released a winter storm warning valid from 7 p.m. until Sunday 1 p.m. for Eastern Chester, Eastern Montgomery and Lower Bucks as well as Delaware and Philadelphia counties.
The weather service says to be ready for, "Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches."
"Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions," says the weather service. "If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1."
