Kozhikode: The results of the Kerala local body elections 2025 have left both Kollam and Kozhikode Corporations without a clear majority for either the CPM-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) or the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF), placing the focus firmly on post-poll negotiations in two politically crucial cities.

The picture that emerged from the Kerala local body election results announced on Saturday showed the UDF moving towards a decisive victory in the local polls. The outcome delivered a setback to the LDF and pointed to a possible shift in voter mood ahead of the 2026 Assembly elections.
