JACKSON, Mo. (KFVS) - The FSCB Holiday Classic resumed with several games across two host sites, with four teams booking spots in Monday’s semifinals.
In the first match of the day, No. 1 Jackson began tournament play with a dominant 68-21 win over Woodland.
The Lady Indians started fast, with Kate Deck, Lauren Dorey, Chloe and Adelyn Abernathy employing a strong press, resulting in several turnovers for the Lady Cardinals.
Deck in particular stood out, scoring 31 on a hot shooting performance. She spoke on her scoring day after the victory.
“I felt great. We played great team ball, great defense, scored a lot in transition,” Deck said. “My teammates did a great job finding me when I was hot, so that was good.”
Up next, Chaffee, off a win Friday versus Bloomfield, faced Cape Central.
