SCOTT COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - Three people wanted in Ste. Genevieve County were found at a campground in Scott County on Friday afternoon.

On December 12, at around 1:30 p.m., the Scott County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious vehicle at the General Watkins Conservation Area campground off Park Road.

Investigators responded and found two men and a woman, who were all found to have active warrants out of Ste. Genevieve County for failure to appear on drug-related charges.

They were taken into custody without incident.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies searched the vehicle and found suspected fentanyl and drug-related items. During the investigation, the woman and one of the men also provided false identifying information to law enforcement.
