ALSEN, N.D. — Mark Kreklau has put his combine under cover, ending a long, wet harvest.
"We still have 150 acres of spring wheat to combine, but the machine just ices up when you put the snowy swaths through it," he said. "We will have to wait until spring to complete harvest and that doesn't look very promising."
