On Sunday at 1:40 a.m. a winter weather advisory was released by the National Weather Service valid from noon until Monday 7 a.m. for Cayuga County.
The weather service states to be ready for, "Total snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches."
"Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute," adds the weather service. "Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1."
