Balaclavas are being banned with a £100 fine for wearing one in a crackdown on crime. Darlington in the North East of England could be the next community to bring in the ban.
The town has seen a rise in youths on quads, e-bikes and e-scooters, wearing balaclavas, committing crime and antisocial behaviour as well as weaving through traffic.
Some have been reported to be throwing food or using racist language. Durham Police received 800 reports of anti-social behaviour in the town between July and August this year, reports MailOnline .
