A vehicle struck a pole and overturned in Philly's Oxford Circle section early Sunday, causing downed wires and cutting power to some homes in the area, officials said.

According to officials, the incident happened at about 3:10 a.m. at the intersection of Deveraux and Summerdale avenues in Philly's Oxford Circle section, when a vehicle struck a pole that held powerlines.

Following the crash, the vehicle, officials said, flipped over onto its roof.

However, officials said, no one was injured in this incident.

Following the crash, some homes near the intersection lost power because of downed wires.

As of about 8:30 a.m., power in that area had been restored.
