The Foreign Office has updated its advice for British people in Australia. A number of people were killed and injured on December 14 in a terrorist shooting on Sydney’s Bondi Beach. Emergency services advise people to avoid the area.

The travel agency stated: "Police investigations are underway, you should follow the advice and directions of the local authorities. If you are concerned about someone who may have been in the area at the time, or need assistance yourself, please contact the British Consulate in Sydney, available 24/7 on +61 2 9247 7521."
