LANSING, MI -- A lucky player in Michigan won a $1 million prize in the Powerball drawing held on Saturday, Dec. 13. The winner matched all five white numbers drawn -- 1-28-31-57-58 -- to win the prize.

Had the player also matched the red Powerball number -- which was 16 -- they would have won the $1.059 billion jackpot.

The winning ticket was sold at the Court Street Party Market, located at 1101 Court St, Cheboygan, Mich. The winner has one year from the drawing date to come forward and claim the prize.

The prize must be claimed at the Michigan Lottery headquarters in Lansing. The winner is asked to contact the Michigan Lottery’s Player Relations division at 1-844-917-6325 to schedule an appointment to collect their winnings.
