WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) - Former president Donald Trump made a high-profile return to X, formerly known as Twitter, for a live, unscripted conversation with owner Elon Musk.
Trump was banned from the platform under its previous ownership for his role in the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol.
The two-hour conversation was friendly with Musk largely supporting Trump's goals for another administration. But the event got off to a rocky start.
Technical issues delayed the start of a rare live conversation on X.
"We unfortunately had a massive, distributed malware service attack against our servers,” said Musk.
Trump quickly made up for the lost time launching into a detailed account of his attempted assassination and vowing to return to the scene.
