WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A Miltonvale woman has been arrested after police say she left a 94-year-old woman alone in a car for nearly two hours while she shopped in Salina. Miltonvale is a 50-minute drive north of Salina.

The Salina Police Department said officers and EMS were called to the Kohl’s parking lot on Thursday after a report of an unresponsive person in a vehicle. When first responders arrived, they found the woman incoherent and unable to respond.

Police determined she had been left inside the car outside Kohl’s for about 50 minutes, but she had also been left alone at other stores earlier in the day. In total, investigators say the woman spent roughly two hours in the vehicle.
