How you can participate in the Great Southeast Pollinator Census

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Do you know how important pollinators are?

The folks at Alabama Power say pollinators like moths, bees, beetles, flies, and hummingbirds - even lizards and bats - are crucial to keeping Alabama’s native and agricultural ecosystems healthy and productive.

Alabama Power supports pollinator health through the establishment and conservation of pollinator plots at many of The Preserves locations in Alabama.

One way you can support the importance of pollinator health is by participating in the Great Southeast Pollinator Census initiative, taking place on Aug. 22 and 23.
