WAIALUA, Hawaii (Island News) – Two men were arrested by the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) after reports of gunshots in Mokuleia on Sunday night around 11:15 p.m.
Officers stopped a vehicle at the end of the road after responding to the area. A firearm was observed inside the vehicle, according to police documents.
Witnesses identified the two men in the vehicle, reported to be 19-years-old, as the men who allegedly fired the shots.
Both of the 19-year-olds were arrested without incident for Place to Keep Pistol at 1:40 a.m.
No injuries were reported or found.
The two men remain in police custody, pending investigation.
