CARY, N.C. (WNCN) - An investigation is underway in Cary after three juvenile suspects accused of multiple car break-ins were taken into custody early Tuesday morning, according to the Cary Police Department.

Cary police said officers responded to the 3900 block of Ansley Stream Lane for reports about four vehicles being broken into at approximately 2:45 a.m.

Cary police said while traveling to the scene, officers spotted two Kia-model vehicles that matched the description of those responsible for the break-ins. Both vehicles were later confirmed stolen, officers said.

Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the two vehicles, according to Cary police. Officers said the two vehicles did not stop for police and continued on NC 55 Highway into Apex.
