Multiple schools in Jasper are on lockdown because of a shooting in Jasper on Tuesday.

Jasper police posted during this time that they are in the area of Devon Drive off 20th Avenue East because of a shooting incident.

The Jasper Fire Chief stated there was a shooting at a private residence.

"The suspect is armed and dangerous and is at large," the post from Jasper police stated.
