CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Palmetto Hope Network on Tuesday will open a new the Lowcountry’s newest domestic violence shelter.
The 4,000-square-foot facility will have five bedrooms with seven beds and two full bathrooms, providing women escaping domestic violence and other violent crimes a safe place to stay.
It will also connect domestic violence victims with services to help rebuild their lives.
Leaders say the facility also has two offices with a full bathroom.
