BLUFFTON, S.C. (WSAV) — The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) is investigating a threat of a possible explosive device outside of CVS on Fording Island Road in Bluffton.

Someone reportedly called in a threat that there could be something near CVS Pharmacy, which is located inside the Target.

There will be an increased law enforcement presence in the area as law enforcement responds, BCSO officials said.

The public is asked to avoid the area until further notice.
