FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Drivers traveling along I-69 by the busy Dupont and Coldwater exits are dealing with more than just the usual rush-hour traffic.

Road crews are carrying out ongoing resurfacing work that has been underway since April.

According to Indiana Department of Transportation spokesperson Hunter Petroviak, the construction is happening overnight, with up to two lanes closed at a time.

“Construction crews are prepared for this type of thing, and they understand that’s part of the job. They’re working hard to make sure that area is resurfaced and redone so that people can get to where they need to go on time and so that we’re investing in our infrastructure.
