COLUMBIA, S.C. — Forest Drive has reopened after a gas line cut closed the road for hours on Wednesday.

All lanes in both directions of Forest Drive, between St. Julien Place and Pinehurst Road, were closed to traffic. The Columbia-Richland Fire Department said there was no need for homes or businesses to evacuate at the time.
