PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- The data of more than 300 million Americans is at risk, a watchdog group said in a recent letter to lawmakers, due to a "lack of security oversight."
Roughly 86% of the nation's population could have their data breached and that had one man in Chillicothe, afraid as he's been through this before.
"I've already had that done to me," said Mike Dowell. "I don't want people to have that done again. Personally, I wish they'd hurry up and do something about it, because if not, guess what? A lot more people are going to get it. A lot more people is going to get hurt."
