RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — An arrest has been made in connection with a weekend shooting in Raleigh that sent one person to the hospital, deputies said.

According to a press release from the Wake County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday, the investigation began this past Sunday afternoon when deputies responded to a report of someone being shot in the 3300 block of Moonglow drive.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they said they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Deputies said he was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. Deputies also said several cars and building were hit by gunfire.
