HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A man is in serious condition after a crash in the Waimanalo area Wednesday.

The crash happened shortly after 6:10 p.m. near the intersection of Kalanianaole Highway and Mekia Street.

Officials said a 56-year-old man was riding a moped when he lost control and crashed into another vehicle.

The Honolulu Emergency Medical Service said they administered advanced life support for multiple injuries and took him to the hospital.
