RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – A degree from Wake Technical Community College could now add up to guaranteed admission to a four-year school.

Wake Tech and William Peace University announced a renewed partnership called "Peace Pathways" during a signing ceremony held at Wake Tech's Northern Campus on Thursday.

Students with an associate's degree from Wake Tech can apply to William Peace with no application fee.

Tuition is set at $10,000 a year for in-person classes and $290 per credit hour for online classes.

"A lot of students finish their associate's degree, which is an incredible accomplishment, and then they want to go on and get a baccalaureate," said Lynn Morton, president of William Peace University. "We make it accessible, we make it affordable and it's easy."
