PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — University of Rhode Island and Brown University football fans are now able to buy tickets to this year's rivalry game.

The 43rd Governor's Cup will be played Friday, Oct. 3, at Centreville Bank Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

This is the first time the game will be played at the new 10,500-seat stadium in Pawtucket.

Tickets range in price from $20 to $125 and can be purchased here.

For Brown season ticket holders, no additional purchase is necessary.

While the game became known as the Governor's Cup in 1981, the intrastate rivalry dates back to 1909. This is the 109th meeting between the two teams. Brown leads the overall series 73-33-2, but URI leads the Governor's Cup series 23-19.
