(WHTM) - Harrisburg native and Penn State football legend Micah Parsons has reportedly been traded to the Green Bay Packers.

The news was reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter after Parsons held out of Cowboys training camp. Terms of the trade were not immediately available.

According to Schefter, the star pass rusher Parsons will receive a four year, $188 million contract with Green Bay and will be the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history.

Dallas drafted Parsons out of Penn State in 2021 after he sat out the Nittany Lions' COVID season. Parsons made an immediate impact in Dallas winning Defensive Rookie of the Year and making four Pro Bowls.
