ENTERPRISE, Ala (WDHN) -- A successful Enterprise businesswoman is back home after competing in the World Transplant Games.

John's Chapel AME church member Yvette Matthews came back with some hardware to store in the case.

Matthews participated in five events at the World Transplant Games in Dresden, Germany-- earning four gold medals in 3k power walk, 1 silver in discus, and three new world records in shot put, ball throw, and long jump.

"I was pretty excited because the last world games I broke records in the 69 age group, but moving up to the 70, I was pretty excited to make some new world records," said Matthews.

Matthews says she is looking forward to competing in the Alabama Senior Olympics and then returning to the World Transplant Games, which will be held in Denver next August
